The problem is more of the right than the left. It needed 4X or 5X the enforcement effort. And that never happened.

So now we have to live with the outcome. And we should do it quickly so it does not get worse. If you are willing to pay for an immigration operation capable of deporting 500,000 people you should make sure the illegals don't get any bigger than that.

I think Obama is about to resolve much of the problem by Executive Order. The right should be gearing up to make sure that part he does not regularize is limited and not growing. Otherwise we get to do it again in ten years.
Well go do some research on HHS "grants".

Since 2010 they've been giving out grants for UACs. It's called "Project for Unaccompanied Alien Children Services"

And the new one out now is for residential homes and next year is group homes.

There is no abatement. The Fed Gov knew this was happening, planned for it, budgeted for it, etc.
They have been doing catch and release since 2009 and then all of a sudden in June decide to detain and declare a "crisis" ?

And while the administration tells us the surge are little kids the reality is that complete families coming across exploded..500% increase FY13 to June FY14 while the minors only increased 100%.

We've been lied to plain and simple.

Here's the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement grant info. Notice it's not ICE and not Border Patrol..it's REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT. We have no intention of deporting any of them.

Big business supported by greedy GOP and Dem politicians is a given. Obama is in bed with big business it seems and is hell bent on supplying them with the needed slave labor. Your president could secure the border today....spend the money we are throwing at resettlement camps and housing for these folks and build the fence. He has no plans on doing a thing about the real problem.

We have no money to continue building the fence but found nearly $1 billion extra to give HHS for FY2014 to take care of them when they get here.

And HHS is now looking to fund "group homes" for them for next year.

The gov could take a trillion and build the fence and send these adults home at least. Solve having to spend 500 billion every year to accommodate the flood coming.

Default GOP Abandons Border Bill

Bahahaha the GOP leadership is an embarrassment. They let Ted Cruz bring them to their knees. Oh and this :

"In a joint statement, GOP leaders said they would continue to work towards a solution and put the onus on President Obama to act on his own.

"There are numerous steps the president can and should be taking right now, without the need for congressional action, to secure our borders and ensure these children are returned swiftly and safely to their countries," read the statement."

So they sued the president for taking action and now they want him to take more executive action. You just can't make this up. Someone throw Boehner's weak a** out. The Tea Party run the house.

House GOP abandons their own border bill

Lol! Too funny! Now they want Obama to act on his own? What a bipolar party! You can't make this stuff up.

The Republican party can't wipe its own butt anymore. Yet, they will be sent back in increased numbers in November. That is the stuff you can't make up.

They will pick up seats in the Senate, but the House is much less certain (though I agree they will keep the Majority)

I believe they are telling him to enforce our current laws. I believe the country is getting solidily behind that idea.

Well the President can declare them all refugees in conjunction with the State Dept.
And for them that might be the better path as they immediately qualify for welfare benefits.

And these people will need them as they have less education than the poor Mexicans that come here.
