Over Sixty-five million Americans—or one in four adults—have a criminal record. But employers—including major companies like Bank of America, Omni Hotel, and Domino's Pizza—routinely post job ads on Craigslist that explicitly exclude such applicants, according to a report conducted by the National Employment Law Center (NELP), a labor-affiliated advocacy group.

What a conundrum.
According to FOX, it's mostly Blacks and Hispanics who get arrested. There's a lot of reasons for this. Too many to list. It's a hard knock life, though.
Though the percentage of working-age Americans with a criminal record has increased significantly over the past 20 years, African Americans and Hispanics are arrested two to three times as much compared with the rest of the U.S. population, the report states.
Good. What's better? Not giving people a fair shake to correct the mistakes they have made, or force them to live off "handouts" from those who "produce"? You can't have it both ways, RWNJs. You can't, on one hand, deny people an opportunity to correct their life while expecting them to not live off the taxpayer trough.

That's probably the first thing I can say where we have agreed.
People can't punish others for life for even the smallest transgression, then expect them not to take handouts to live.
It's also ironic BofA, who received a "second chance" at the hand of the taxpayer in 2009, won't do the same to anyone with the slightest transgression, even decades old.

Hiring someone to work for a bank with a criminal background?
Hiring someone to work for a bank with a criminal background?
Are you FREAKING INSANE????
They've fired people who worked for them for years when it was discovered they had decades-old convictions for something or other. Yeah, insane.
