That's a typical excuse so as not to hold anyone accountable, as they usually do. And I'm not talking just dems, because it's both sides.
The "incompetent" workers, or whoever you're referring to who were supposedly incompetent, were taking their instructions from a superior, and that person from his, on and on. People were responsible.
But they'll do their best to lie their way through any scandal, prevent the truth from being known, and will hold no one accountable.

There will be people held accountable here even if no one is fired or charged with anything.
Not so sure about that. Seems to me they're in a panic now. If you think these are scandals out of nothing, you must have relocated here from Cuba or something, so that all of this looks normal to you.

Ok, so what have you got? Were there any crimes committed? No. Was government money misappropriated? No.
The best you got is someone took a document and made it blame a different department instead of theirs. So what? Anyone who was killed still would have been killed.
As far as I am concerned, these investigations are just throwing Mentos into Coke.

It's clear some research on your part would be helpful. You are missing large chunks of facts, particularly concerning the timeline.

Excuse me. I used the wrong words. No one will be charged with a crime or locked up behind bars. Maybe fired, slapped on the wrist. Not for any of the scandals going on at this time will anyone be charged with a crime. And it's not just dems. They're all alike.
Well I read them. Good Lord the government is just as bad as the big multi-national when it comes to this type of stuff and I sure had my share over the years of flying emails with everyone wanting to have their say.
Looks like Morrell did the heavy editing and the State Dept is the one that worried the most about looking bad.
In the end it was all about how they looked when the public was presented with this info.
It was "softened" up so no one looked like they screwed up.
And I also got the sense that people outside of those email addresses looked and gave input so we'll never really know all the players in those edits.
Nuland said her building leadership wasn't happy which means they saw the emails but didn't directly send/receive any themselves.
Guilty ? Yes of caring about maintaining their perception to the American public and avoid any and all criticism.

Unfortunately it is not a crime for a politician to lie while not under oath. Even then they usually get away with it.
There are only 100 pages being released (of probably 10,000+ pages).
There really isn't much of anything there, besides the story concerning the 12 talking points revisions that the press already broke.
