The real tragic part of this video were the kids acting like animals yelling and screaming just like their mother. Liberals should allow these images and this video to play in their minds. This is what welfare accomplishes. Anybody who votes for the same guy that all of these animals votes for, are just one step above these ghetto animals as far as Im concerned. And you liberal savages want to take firearms out of the hands of the law abiding. Sad...

He was also in a unique position to try to change the acceptable mores of our community and serve as a role model, which he still seems to have no interest in doing. The only time he seemed to directly address some of the special problems facing our youth was over the Trayvon Martin case, and that was an occasion when he should have kept out of it.

God, stuff like this makes my skin crawl. I suppose Kentuckians feel the same way when people from the Appalachian mountains end up on one of these videos, but it just seems like there are more making black people look like fools out there. These "ladies" do NOT represent black women. What makes me cringe the most is the behavior of the children, who clearly are growing up thinking this is how you interact with people in society.

I agree with this guy:

MillerSpeaksOut is an outstanding example of what I thought when I watched that thing. Now I wonder what he would say about the NAACP head man and how he talked.

Something may went on before the video but from the video it appears her kids were a bit unruly outside and one was hollering. The security guard yells at the kid to be quiet and the mom tells him no to yell at her kids. Thus the back and forth continues until she is tased after striking the guard.

I am generally a small government believer but when it comes to this I support taxes for foster care to take kids to a better loving environment and break the cycle because that helps everybody in the long run. My neighbor fosters kids and I see how they were saved .

This video should be forwarded to Bill Gates and anyone else going on about rating teachers as a key to fixing our schools. You can be the best teacher of the year but if your charges are going home to that every night it's all for naught.

I suspect it's video like this or interactions like this is why Oprah built her school in South Africa. Why keep throwing good money after bad?

Finally someone mentions the fact that several slapping sounds were heard and then the tasing. I wonder if we are the only ones who heard that part. I had to side with the guard after I heard that she was pounding at him.

This was pretty bad and I have to agree with the Miller guy about what took place.

Thank you and your honesty. I respect people who don't make excuses period for bad behavior. Don't care what color of skin you have, there is something called respect, if you want people to also respect you.

Sometimes there are no excuses, being poor, does not equate to being disrespectful, or being a bad parent and setting bad examples for your kids.

im not saying Barack should do nothing, in fact he has done alot for african Americans by expanding free GED and professional development courses as well as tuition subsidies for those intering work force certification programs ( networking(CISCO), welding, Automotive repair, Nursing programs, programming, Land Scaping and so on . The problem is when he specifically mentions these programs, he is labeled racist by the right, or said to be not worried about the rest of the nation, or pandering to one group. It is sad.

There is also the problem of your argument, Mathguy. Black unemployment continues to go up because more african Americans are entering the work force(percentage wise) than whites. So these people arent being fired, these are 18 and 19 y/o who cant find jobs. African American unemployment also usually runs twice that of whites. Even under clinton, when the Overall unemployment was 3.9%, it was 8% among african Americans.
Um, not sure what "argument" you think I made.....but I was merely defending the head of the NAACP from someone basically calling him some sort of republican uncle tom because he was unhappy with black unemployment levels and wanted them to be addressed.

This is not so much welfare. Anyone can be on welfare, and welfare does need to be reformed. But part of it is simply common sense. This woman didn't know how to raise her kids the right way.

I've seen similar behavior from middle class White kids. When I was in the 6th grade a teenager came up and shot me with a paintball gun, on purpose. He did it in broad daylight and didn't care who saw him do it. His brother later vandalized my house. When my father went to deal with his father, his father basically yelled at my father about it. Stupid behavior knows no bounds.
