Obama Mission du Jour in Libya: “Installing a democratic system” « Hot Air

"But “installing a democratic system” sounds an awful lot like the nation-building on which both Obama and Hillary heaped criticism while running for President in 2007-8."

Gee, I guess this isn't just a no fly zone. Perhaps this jack ass can finish his little vacat.... I mean tour in South America and come back home and explain things. Seems to me, he is as confused to what our purpose over there is, or he just doesn't want to be honest about it.

I swear to god if this is the case and it comes out and promotes this idea I really can't let this go on.
When does this thinking come from seriously arrogant piece of crap president down to his military advisers to the people working behind the scenes this makes no sense. To remake the middle east is full on war with the middle east I expect this to be a never ending battle and I can't blame those who live their who hold on to their traditions and or lives to want revenge or action against our crazy crusading ideas. It seems to me those who are making these decisions care nothing for our economy, nothing for our safety, nothing other then power, they think they are unstoppable, the hand of god or something.

This goes beyond policy this is insanity. The president and anyone even discussing this is seriously losing their minds.
They have no business and the world is not OUR play ground what is going on here.
Look around people we suffer, we have to deal with this debit, the coming crazy taxes, the bankrupt of our nation, and those so called socialist liberals I have news for you your programs will be broke as well.
IMPEACH this idiot now, get someone in their who follows the laws and protects America first and has the strength to say NO to the vultures and has a backbone and PRINCIPLES!!! Democracy gave the world HAMAS... Seriously just stop playing with FIRE!!!!

Here it comes. And to think, people called GWB a liar to get us into war. This guy blatantly lies about what our mission really is.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to take this headline on Drudge Report and create a thread here.

Out of the following possibilities...
1- Ignore Gaddaffi's actions (Technically support Gaddaffi)
2- Weaken Gaddaffi's use of military over the rebels (Technically, support the rebellion)
3- Direct engage in war with the government in Libya

I support #2. What do you?

2 and 3 are the same thing. When your country fires Tomahawk missiles onto Libyan soil, you are directly engaging in the war. Plain and simple. You cannot favor one side of a war without being direct about it.

#4 Worry about America's problems. One of the BIG one's being our mistaken belief WE are the world's police force.

Too bad that will never happen in that region of the world.

How can Obomba install a democratic system in Libya when he is trying his hardest to destroy our democratic process here in America.

Amazing.
