Enjoy the victory dance while rome burns. Obama has no mandate except from the fools.
Obama would not normally have a mandate - I agree.

The problem is, republicans are dumb enough to give him one.

Just watch.

69.8 percent of eligible voters do not approve of obama, he has no mandate.
No, not voting does not count as a vote, it simply says those non voters chose to sit on the sidelines and not participate.

Republicans have been opposing their own ideas for years. When they said their number one goal was to defeat Obama, they were serious. They've shown it time and time again, opposing their own ideas if a Democrat dares to agree with them and actively working to damage the nation's economy. Too bad for them that most of the American people aren't stupid enough to fall for it.

Approval ratings say otherwise. Not bothering to vote doesn't mean you disapprove. It just means you were too lazy to go cast a ballot.

Making up your own reality may make you happy, but it also makes you look like an idiot.

It means no candidate was worth compromising their values to vote for,so of course that is a vote.
Anyway, almost 3/4 or 69.2 of eligible voters agree that Obama has the wrong ideas.
That is no mandate no matter how you spin it.

President Obama is possibly the first president since Eisenhower to win 51% of the vote in two elections. There was a smaller voter turnout this cycle, in part due to Hurricane Sandy. In terms of the OP, every poll shows that people are tired of gridlock and want their representatives to engage in compromises when and if they legislate. President Obama will be in office for another four years, and the millions who voted for him will be expecting Congress to grow up and govern. Nobody, Democrat or Republican, believes that the country will benefit from another four years of sheer obstructionism on the part of the GOP.

Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better?

I think your boys are going to the well one too many times. Too much gridlock will result in one party rule and the brutal efficiency that comes with it.

Or it just means they were too lazy to vote, if 69.2% of eligible voters felt Obama had the wrong ideas you would be celebrating president Romney's win right now. Spin it however you want to make yourself feel good but at the end of the day Obama won the majority of those that took the time to vote.

Good to see you showing your true colors, you would rather see this country fail than have it succeed with a Democratic as president, sounds very unAmerican to me.
