Wrong. GOP is still going to become relevant and win the presidency, whether you like it or not. I'm not blinded by partisan rhetoric, like you are. Democrats don't own minorities, so don't assume that every single minority is going to vote for a Democrat that's quite insulting our intelligence

I don't understand why so many Republicans don't like Eisenhower and don't want to go back to that?

That group is about as dumb as those who fail to recognize the Great Society programs have been a massive failure.

Doubtful but the demographic changes if the recent SAT scores are used as a leading indicator would point to dark days ahead.

You are going to have a growing population largely incapable of navigating a knowledge based economy being solely dependent on a productive class. At some point civil war will simply break out.

Because

(1) Most of the luukewarm. closeted-liberal pseudo-Centrists weren't around when Eisenhower was President.

(2) They don't understand (or just won't admit) that a Congress under control of the Democrats prevented any real progress until the election of a stronger Republican -- Ronald Reagan.

I wouldn't mind a Reagan president again. Contrary to what the mainstream Republicans believe as well, he's not as right wing as his more contemporary counterparts. I don't care if he was definitely center-right, he was a strong president.

Right, and the GOP was dead after the 2008 elections. Then, a funny thing happened in 2010......

In fairness as far as Blacks goes there is nothing to indicate hotair's assumptions are incorrect. There appears to be more political diversity among other minorities. I doubt you'll see Hispanics vote so one sided as Blacks because its a more diverse grouping. Still in total the Dems can probably count on anywhere from 55-75% of minority votes in national elections.
