So when is the GOP crackdown coming in regards to absentee ballots. You know those things that you can just send in without having to produce an ID on the spot.
It would seem to be a lot easier to tamper with those things than to try to fraudulently cast a vote in person.
Absentee ballots have a place. I'm thinking about homebound elderly and college students.

I would think so too. In (liberal) WA they went to all mail in ballots, there are no more polling places. After how hard they had to work to steal the 2004 election they switched to an easier method.
So enough of the throwing a fit for asking for ID to vote. Its a hell of a lot more important than any of these things because it affects EVERYONE not just you who are to lazy to get ID.

The who specifically will be disenfranchised? All the poor, elderly, minority, non-drivers, pretty much everyone I know had a legal photo ID, so again, Who will be disenfranchised?
If there are no relatives or friends - no transportation
If the person is unable to walk or its too far - unable to get there.
If the person can't take the bus or there is no bus route that he/she can take or is near where she/he lives - unable to get there.
If the person is unable to get a cab or can't pay for one - unable to get there.
if the person works 10am - 8 pm at night, because they need to, and the DMV is only open from 8 am to 3pm - and many DMV's are no longer open M-F (having furlough schedules) or the weekends....what is a person to do?
That's why i said "some". cause "some" people just simply can't make the trip due to reasons that are to numerous to list.
The requirement puts an Undue burden on people.
Then I guess these people must be dead because if they can do any of this then they will starve.
Voter fraud runs about 0.000005%. Most manufacturers cannot engineer anything to that tolerance.
It's disgusting how readily you are willing to shut eligible voters out of voting because the GOP tells you to think this way.
