In law there is a concept called case law. In case law judges and others can affect the rights of citizens and how citizens are treated by the police and others. Hence the attention on such cases.
You've got to love a prosecution that presents a list of witnesses who weren't even there and didn't witness anything. And who the heck names their kid Jahvarius? Good Grief!
Most names were redacted from the document, but six civilian witnesses were listed: Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin— parents of the alleged victim, Trayvon Martin — as well as Trayvon's brother, Jahvarius Fulton; Zimmerman's neighbor, Frank Taaffe; his friend, Joe Oliver; and his father, Robert Zimmerman.
Until he is convicted, he didn't.... did he plead guilty?
So Trayvon Martin's dead body with a bullet in it from Zimmerman's gun is not evidence that Zimmerman killed him? How else did the boy die? Skittle poisoning?

Martin, a trained athlete, had the option to run and could have easily outrun a middle-aged man.
You are quite right, I heard that Martin was going go in the first round of the NFL draft after he got finished competing in the Olympics.
As for Zimmerman being middle-aged. God help me because if 28 is middle-aged, at 60 I am practically Methuselah!

Well, if they have been arrested I would suspect that it is a bit early to know what their punishment would be if they are convicted of the charges. But if or when they are arrested, charged, and tried their punishment should be whatever specific charge calls for.
