The HOA didn't Hire anyone, much less GZ. It was his own little job he took responsibility for. He was a private citizen when he did what he did.
That's up for debate, since a newsletter from the community told residents to contact George Zimmerman if they wanted to report problems. Still, it wasn't a "job" in the real sense. It obviously gave him a delusional sense of authority, however.
“… 6. Lean is a mixed drink originating in the Southern Rap culture. It is a mixture of Promethazine and Codeine cough syrup and a soft drink such as Sprite (usually). While other soft drinks may be used, Sprite was the original. And now also Arizona Watermelon for Watermelon Drank/Lean
There are some variations of Lean. For example, Promethazine and Codeine syrup is usually Purple in color. But there are other colors of syrup that work the same way. There is a golden-colored syrup (hydrocodone based) and other colors as well.
Lean slows you down. It makes you feel good. It’s meant to be sipped on, and it taste damn good. One of the best feelings you will ever experience. Euphoria with a hint of sedation. …”
Lean is also the drug mixture that killed Pimp C. pimp c died on an overdose of lean
These are the ingredients for watermelon flavored "Lean"
Promethazine with codeine, consumed in such large amounts as is popular with such southern rappers as lil wayne, slim thug, and Big Moe, produces an opiate-like high that is potentiated by the Promethazine.
Promethazine by itself will not produce a high. The beverage must be sipped slowly, and not guzzled, in order to avoid unconsciousness and/or life threatening overdose.
What is DXM or Lean?
In fact, the drug has come to be known in some circles as “Poor-Man’s PCP!”
“…DXM causes physical and psychological effects that may be frightening or unpleasant… Psychological effects can include profound disorientation, depression, a feeling of personal disintegration, or a feeling of “unreality” and disconnection that may persist for days. Chronic use may cause depression, psychological dependency, and possibly brain damage. Large doses may be associated with psychotic breaks…”

Right. Forgot we're blaming the victim here. If Zimmerman hadn't shot him, I'm sure someone else would've shot him while he was walking around holding a can of tea. After all, the kid's smoked pot... unlike most kids in America. He's gotten in trouble at school... unlike.. most kids in America....and he wore faddish tooth coverings and clothing... unlike most kids in America. Any kid that does those things, deserves to be profiled, followed, attacked and then shot on the sidewalk in "self defense"?

ROFL.
Some blame tm. Others are taking what's known at this point and trying to figure out which law prevails--- self defense, murder 2, something else.
Some go to any hypothetical extreme to reject the possibility that gz is ng of criminal homicide. He inflicted the injuries himself, his father and DA conspired to stop an arrest, his doctor faked his report, and many others.
I ignore tm's school record until people like you come up with the 'typical teen' or 'most' teens are suspended from school 3 times in a relatively short time And smoke pot And show up in unauthorized school area And write wtf on school property And happen to have women's jewelry and a screwdriver in their backpack And don't tell school police who it belonged to And has a weed baggie and pipe in school And skips school. Even without the Possibility that he refereed school fights and a few other side rumors, the 'typical' or 'most' teen label is, fortunately, wrong.

Still posting the baby picture. Why doesn't anyone post z as a twelve yr old bet he's cute too. Probably a anti Hispanic thing.
I have no idea how this incident went down. Thankfully, the parties assigned to try this case, have access to tons of documents and statements that will assist them. We do not. Both the defense and the prosecution have gone above and beyond the typical release of information, probably trying to diffuse the situation in the public's eyes.
Now they have both sealed what they consider the most valuable information, including the identities of witnesses, statements that would be incriminating or prejudicial to the defendant, and anything else that could hamper a speedy and fair trial. While I do think the trial will be somewhat public, I think we already have all or most of the information we will be given until the trial.
If you put yourselves in the shoes of George Zimmerman, or Trayvon's family, I doubt you'd want it any other way. Most of the speculation done my the many following this case is just that, speculation based on incomplete information. Just one or two important pieces of information could change that view in a second. There are certainly those that have a personal need to believe one or more speculative views of what occurred that night. Some for ideological or political reasons, some for far more sinister reasons. But since our nation is built on the rule of law, the prosecution and defense, within the framework of our legal system, are doing as we have for a very long time. It might not be a perfect system, but it's as close to one as we're going to get.
Any one of us could possibly be in the position of the family, Trayvon or GZ given circumstances beyond our control. Given that, I think it's time to think about having some respect for the process, and some respect for our fellow human beings. It's all we have that binds us in a civilized society. It's also what makes our nation strong, and a model for societies striving to improve. Let's all hope the system does its job well, and comes up with the truthful answers to what happened that fateful night.
"Why are we making a big thing about a white or Hispanic man killing a black teenager when blacks kill and beat up and do terrible things to white people all the time ?"
What about ?
Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom
James Kouzaris, and James Cooper
John Sanderson.
Frank Motta
Nancy and Bob Strait ,Robert Purvis,Hannah Wheeling ?
"Where was Jackson, Sharpton "
What makes the Trayvon Martin case sdifferent and MUCH WORSE is not the race of his killer but the actions of the authorities in letting Zimmerman (At first) him go free, letting Martin lie dead in a morgue without telling or trying to contact his parents. As if the lives of black people do not matter.
THE DIFFERENCE
When blacks murder kill white
Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom murders
Lemaricus Davidson : Death by lethal injection
Letalvis Cobbins: Life without parole
George Thomas : Life without parole
James Kouzaris and James Cooper murders :
Shawn Tyson: convicted of two counts of first-degree murder
John Sanderson murder :
Three suspects arrested
Frank Motta murder :
Treven Lewis arrested and charged with second-degree murder
Nancy and Bob Strait murders :
Tyrone Dale David Woodfork arrested and charged with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, two counts of armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon
Robert Purvis murder :
Brian Beasley : Life without parole
Hannah Wheeling murder :
Brian Wonsom: 85 years
When whites murder kill blacks
Ramarley Graham murder
Richard Haste: no arrest, no charge
Trayvon Martin murder
George Zimmerman: no arrest, no charge
See the difference ?
If a black person murders a white person.
T.H.E.Y - W.I.L.L - B.E - D.E.S.T.R.O.Y.E.D
If a white persom murders a black person ?
There is good chance of getting away with. Had it not been for the huge protests about Trayvon. Zimmerman would be relaxing with his friends, probably bragging with his mates about killing martin
This is not about hating whitey. This is and was about a miscarriage of justice. That is the very reason for the protests – because without them little will be done.
Despite what some say the media circus over Trayvon Martin is the exception not the rule. When you read about murdered whites. They usually say nothing about the arrest. Because it’s assumed that the police arrest suspects.
And that is the thing :
White civil rights go back hundreds of years and are taken for granted. Black civil rights only go back to the 1960s and cannot (yet) be taken for granted. As the Trayvon Martin case makes painfully clear
Well, the thread that I started on MSM bias in the Martin/Zimmerman case(Not so Innocent(looking)) got folded into another thread - that had very little to do with the threads' topic. I imagine that the moderators will do the same thing with this thread.

And this is where you lose all credibility.
