You know why? Because it's not enough. We need massive stimulus. Congress needs to pump money in the service sector, so jobs could be created. If the government could pump money into our financial sector to bring it up to speed, it could do the same to main street America.

During any of these speeches, I enjoy watching the Veep and the Speaker and how they are reacting to the Pres.

Tonight didn't disappoint.

Biden looked either utterly befuddled or hopelessly worshipful, while Boehner lookd like he had to go and take a massive dump or he was scanning the room to see if anyone would throw something at Obongo.

Obongo, as usual, gave the "Arrogant Mussolini Nostril-aiming" look and the "Mr. Tuvok/I'm Being SERIOUS" look.

The oral portion of the speech was a festival of meaningless platitudes with verbiage unfit for inclusion in a Hallmark greeting card.

I thought his nose was growing, as the campaign speech went on.
That wasn't his nose.

No, thats merely your opinion of what he said, and we all know what opinions are like, dont we?

Let me guess, lower taxes and cut spending? Maybe we can lower the interest rates, too? Oh wait.......

Great speech. President Obama came out fighting.
I agree. Great speech.

From the beginning of his presidency, President Obama has included good ideas and good people from both parties. The ideas he's proposed tonight are again taken from both sides of the isle.

The truth is that the Republicans in Washington don't care about the people in America that are living day to day... desparate for relief.
And, if you lose everything over the next 14 months... oh well.
