The dems should really have a primary challenger. There are a lot of disillusioned dems who will be forced to hold their nose in the voting booth or sit home. Obviously, I'm hoping they will just sit out in 2012.
I don't want to vote for Obama again, but I will not vote for a teabagger.
I feel the same way. I could vote for a guy like Huntsman or Gary Johnson, if any of the other GOP nutjobs get the nomination than I will have no choice but to vote for Obama.

I'm in the same boat. It would violate my conscience and my values to vote for one of those people. I don't even think I could vote for a tea partier if I was threatened with prison.
We do have the interesting situation where, to appeal to his base, President Obama will have to move 'to the left' during his campaign.
I rather agree about Mr. Huntsman: thus far, I could see myself voting for him. However, it appears doubtful that he will garner the Republican nomination.

And that is a HUGE shame. Folks on here continue to yammer about why Blacks do not vote Republican....Its because we can't get someone like John Huntsman to represent....I could definitely get behind someone like Huntsman. Maybe he should change to a Independent.

I think if Huntsman went third party or ran as a Dem, he would be our next president. In the current GOP, only a lunatic theocrat is going to survive the primary process.

Exactly. Obama may not have turned out to be the "FDR" many of us were expecting, but that disappointment doesn't necessarily mean voting for one of the current wacko "alternatives"!
