Remember when teachers, public employees, Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS crashed the stock market, ruined home values, wiped out half of our 401Ks, took trillions in TARP money, spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico, gave themselves billions in bonuses, and paid no taxes?

Yeah... me neither.

Remember when NPR and PBS were left leaning and funded by taxpayers?

Remember when Planned Parenthood killed millions of babies and was funded by taxpayers?

Oh yeah, WE ALL SHOULD REMEMBER THAT.

Thanks for another wonderful thread Kerby.

For fiscal year 2008, including money from the federally funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting, about 16% for NPR and about 9% for PBS.

WHAT% of NPR and PBS funding is federal tax$ .? : Taxes

the fact that only 3 percent of Planned Parenthood's overall services are abortion-related

I'm not Kirby...

Heck, I don't even have a vacuum cleaner.

And there's no need to thank me for setting you straight.

Actually no, I don't. Considering not a single federal penny goes to the funding of a single abortion. Federal dollars were going to socialist causes like HIV/AIDS testing, birth control, mammograms, etc.

Oh yeah I remember well. Those goddamn teachers and their lavish salaries. We of course can't forget those leech, drains on society cops and firefighters. They don't skate away from blame with their 30-40,000 dollar salary.

Then it should not be difficult for them to disassociate the abortion mill portion of their practice to be privately funded should they?

Remember when each and everyone of the above projects had government oversight? They still do. Hmmmmmm....maybe that is the problem. Cut the funding, cut the government, cut the debt.

Remember when most private companies in the U.S. offered employees pensions as an incentive to retain workers? Just because private business got greedy and focused only on the bottom line, higher productivity with less pay, less workers, less benefits, everybody thinks pensions are now "wasteful spending". Do you think people go into teaching, law enforcement, fire fighting, for the great pay and benefits? They are under payed, and the first to get the ax when politics directs spending cuts. Personally you couldn't pay me enough to teach--too many parents expect teachers to not only teach but to discipline and babysit their kids. Yet the taxpaper is supposed to be outraged because they get a pension! Hell, most teachers barely make enough to survive while they are working, pensions are hardly wreaking havoc on the U.S. economy. As far as planned parenthood is concerned, let's elimiinate all access to women's reproductive healthcare, access to birth control and, preventive health screenings and watch the incidence of unplanned pregnancies and back room abortions sky rocket.
