Excuse me, but I distinctly remember GW Bush saying on a televised speech "everything for Iraq".

GWB talked a lot of trash about nation building and then proceeded to do just that in Iraq. Have you forgotten that?

McCain wanted to stay in Iraq for 100 years if necessary. Palin supported that. Have you forgotten that too?

Ronald Reagan bombed Libya in 1986 over a bombed night club in West Berlin. Do you consider that a war? How come Ronnie can bomb Libya, but Obama can't?

Obama is the best you have had in a long time...He is your president, like it or not, and the US would be a lot better off if all people would accept that and work with him....Your partisan politics are destroying your country, don't you realize that?

and one that expresses my sentiments. Guess the OP must continue to stagger blindly, misinformed, wrong, and always on the inferior side of the political argument.

To the OP: President Obama has been an exceptional president...and don't you forget it.

He has been "exceptional" at increasing the national debt by $3.4 trillion in only 2 years.

To the lefties, it's like "Remember the Alamo."
They're still fighting out the 2000 election.

Repugnantcant's spent 8 years screwing up the country and burning through cash like a frat boys swigging cheap beer and yet they have the audacity to complain while President Obama has pulled America back from the brink of a Great Depression and restored America's good faith around the world. 2012 is not far enough away from the Bush years for the Repugnantcan'ts to win the White House by any means.

The Tea Party will be a distant memory by 2012 (the Koch brothers and the Rep powers that be has already quashed them like an annoying mosquito). The TP foot soldiers are now impotent.

It's not like he's really the President. For years we heard how Bush stole the election and Obama should never have been elected with his secret past and hushed up records.
Obama is an empty suit being manipulated by higher powers just like Bush was. He's proven to be nowhere near the salesman or intellect he was built up to be and only partisanship is keeping enough people behind him to prevent his being removed from office. The office of President has been undermined greatly the last 20 years, for good or bad.

What is his strategy? I expect he was pressured to "do something" but didn't want to do "too much" so as to alienate his left wing followers. For example, he was quoted as wanting to get out of Afghanistan, not for the better of the USA or Afghanistan but for purely political reasons. As per Obama, "I can't lose the whole Democratic party."

Charles Krauthammer: President Obama has already pulled out of Afghanistan

Geez, your Golden Boy even said he would turn over control of the military efforts to the Arab nations. I cant imagine letting Arab nations control our military. He is blind.

All of his decisions are politically and financially motivated and he throws some bones to his left wing idealogues along the way. How do you feel about his oil deals with Brazil subsidized with US tax payer dollars?
You know, you don't have to rely on supposition to know why we're there and what the goal is, because President Obama stated both quite clearly several days ago.
Barack Obama: "Now, here is why this matters to us. Left unchecked, we have every reason to believe that Qaddafi would commit atrocities against his people. Many thousands could die. A humanitarian crisis would ensue. The entire region could be destabilized, endangering many of our allies and partners. The calls of the Libyan people for help would go unanswered. The democratic values that we stand for would be overrun. Moreover, the words of the international community would be rendered hollow.

"And that's why the United States has worked with our allies and partners to shape a strong international response at the United Nations. Our focus has been clear: protecting innocent civilians within Libya, and holding the Qaddafi regime accountable.

I think he articulated our goals quit succinctly. We are participating to ensure the safety of innocent civilians from Moammar Qaddafi, and to ensure the region does not become destabilized and endanger our allies and partners due to Qaddafi's actions.

As for the OP's question, of course I'm still with President Obama. I haven't agreed with everything he's done, but I didn't expect to. And yet even with the places we diverge, he's still one of the best Presidents we've had in the past half century. There's no doubt he'll have my vote in 2012.

Just curious - how many Presidents have you lived under and voted for in your lifetime, how do they compare to Obama, and what is it that you feel makes Obama best?
