2. What Obama released is his actual form. Its a legal birth certificate from the state of Hawaii.
Why doesn't Trump show his official long form birth certificate certified by the State of New York? What is he hiding? Poor Mom doesn't even get her name on this certificate - she's just "Mrs."

This can't be an official NY birth certificate. I have my original NY birth certificate and it doesn't look anything like Mr. Trump's. His doesn't even list his mother's real name.

Wrong. It's a certificate saying that a record of Obama's birth exists in the Hawaii office of vital records. Subtle, but important difference. Certificates - all of them - are just evidence of a public record existing.
The COLB is prima facie evidence of Obama being born in Hawaii, backed by the Hawaiian office of vital statistics, and that's pretty much it. Legally, it holds as much weight as the elusive "vault copy" or "long form" or whatever it is you want this week. The fact that you want another, different-looking certificate is, well, irrelevant. To recap: Hawaii's Gvt. has stated that the COLB matches their records and is considered prima facie evidence of Obama's birth in Honolulu. Deal.
That Donald Trump has decided to look for support among the easily duped is pretty much to be expected. He's already honed his skills in finding buyers among those who get taken by form over substance - honed them to the point of artistry, almost. Reality TV and credit card commercials, and yet people somehow still think he's a person of some substance. Look at the media outlet he's picked: Exclusive for - NewsMax. Seriously.
The state of Hawaii has his birth certificate, it's posted widely on the internet, and even Boehner says Obama is a US citizen. Trump just cost himself the election before he even started from showing he's a birther nutcase.

Be upfront and in the open to force the states to push for mandatory release of all records including a long form BC and other important docs to back up the fact that you have had to been born in the USA.
And Trump is outsmarting you in bringing it to a head because many states are already pushing for more information other then a photoshop type BC.
I also believe we need to push for a law that requires all candidates that file to possibly become President has to not have any public records, birth records, school records, financial records and important other documents ever been locked or hidden.
If you are going to run for this office we deserve to know everything about you period and that includes everyone who files to run.
Trump is not the nutcase here, the people who do not want to force more records are the real nutcases because they are only doing this for Obama and would do the exact same thing if it were anyone but him.
Trump is much smarter then you think and has this well planned out in case he decides to run to bring out the issues once again that the American people got scammed on with Obama.
