They don't care about the outcome - it's all about power and control masked by a false compassion for the poor and downtrodden.
Make people totally dependent on government for everything - that's the goal of the progressives. The end result - more power for them and less freedom/rights for everyone else.

The US was the greatest LIBERAL experiment of its time.
And yes, it is still working. A bit clunky and prone to backfires, but still working.
All experiments, social or otherwise, are called experiments because the results are not known. Progressives perform social experiments to see if living conditions can be improved whereas conservative prefer time tested methods that do not work.

Because the truth is exactly what you said previously. They don't care if they work as they sold it to the poeple. They just want the power and control over everyone's lives to turn them into slaves for the elites to get rich from.

Because nothing is ever blatantly clear except in the eyes of people who have a very oversimplified view of the world.

Saying the "liberals are always wrong" is every bit as stupid and wrong as saying "conservatives are always wrong."
