Every statement is factual and directly attributable to Barrack Hussein Obama. Every bumble is a matter of record and completely verifiable. !

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

They GOP complain incessantly about the growing deficit yet the $700 billion the tax cut to the upper 2% is going to cost the country and everybody’s grandchildren with another unwarranted, unneeded, wasteful redistribution of the wealth upwards doesn’t bother them. Merry Christmas!

This gets so tedious somtimes! EXISTING TAX CUTS DO NOT COST US MONEY!

If I am charging a renter $300 per month and beginning in Jan 2011 I want to charge them $400 per month, I CANNOT make the case that if I don't get the extra $100 per month, that it is COSTING me money! The EXISTING TAX CUTS represent MONEY the FED GOV'T is NOT currently getting!!

Stop all the stupid political spin comments and start using common sense. You will certainly appear LESS foolish, if nothing else.

The only reason politicians WANT the "Bush tax cuts" to EXPIRE is because they are counting on SPENDING that money to PAY for some OTHER Gov't program! These dishonest "public servants" are trying to SELL the idea that extending the tax cuts will COST us money! But it's absurdly untrue!!

They need to CUT EXISTING Gov't programs then they wouldn't have to worry about tax cuts expiring!! Make the self-serving jerks in Washington DC be accountable. Make them balance our country's budget. They can start by forfeiting their $170,000 a year unnecessary and unjustifiable salaries plus all their benefits packages!!

I'm looking for a source right now, but that is it in a nutshell.

I think some people on this forum need common sense transplants.

Please tell me how it is possible to not have a job for TWO YEARS! Anyone with a brain and some motivation could find SOMETHING in that time period. Really now. A link backing up YOUR theory would be great.

How does the Europe study equate to the cost of living in the United States. You do realize that unemployement is ONE of the major cause for serious issue with Foreclosure today? Too many home owners can no longer afford their mortgage and property tax living off of the amount of umemployement they receive. My goodness you people actually believe receiving unemployment is like winning the lotto, well its not.

I find it interesting that instead of cutting unemployment benefit extensions they could not find any other major waste to cut, they might want to look at their spending one more time. Quick way to lose Millions of voters over to the Demos in 2012, the GOP never learns from history.

States have borrowed $41 billion to cover their unemployment benefits.
So far the states have not had to pay interest to Uncle Sam.
Next year the interest comes due.

Texas owes $1.2 billion and issued bonds to pay the entire loan off. Employers in Texas have seen their unemployment insurance rise 177% in 2009. The bonds have a lower rate than the government loan by almost 2% (2.3% vs 3.9%) and will divy up the burden to the state employers.

Michigan doesn't know how they will make their interest payment; they borrowed $3.8 billion. Their employers pay $500+ in unemployment insurance.

California doesn't know how they will make their interest payment; they borrowed $8.8 billion and just can't deal with that because they have a $25 billion budget hole that takes priority. Didn't say what employers in their state pay.

Interest on unemployment insurance loans coming due - Nov. 22, 2010

You're right, it certainly does. And you’ve got to be kidding. Let’s just agree to (STRONGLY) disagree on this and leave it at that, ok? I’m not going to bother with responding to you if you can’t dialogue in a congenial, intellectual, non insulting manner. Good bye!

House GOP blocks bill to extend jobless benefits - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101118/ap_on_bi_ge/us_jobless_benefits - broken link)

"Republicans maintain they're willing to extend the benefits but don't want to add the cost — $12.5 billion for three months — to the nation's $13.8 trillion national debt. 'The fact is, we can both provide this help and pay for it by cutting less effective stimulus spending,' said Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La. 'That's what we should be debating today.'"

Sounds like a great idea. Why are Democrats unwilling to pay for their spending with cuts elsewhere?

What happened to Pay-Go?
