The game of the near future will involve cities competing with each other to attract WFH residents. It doesn't matter where the large employers are located anymore. So shootings in the city will lead to its downfall as who wants to put up with that BS?

Bingo…and many folks simply don’t want to deal with the riff-raff. Standards differ so many chalk it up to no big deal…but it’ll get worse as the police continue to be looked at as big meanies and the criminals continue to be enabled….and I certainly don’t see Big Ed doing anything to change it, so let folks deal with the consequences.

I heard folks were protesting and calling police brutality for the criminal that got tased and died. If there weren’t criminals police wouldn’t be needed.

Blaming guns is a cop-out to avoid addressing a complex problem which also reflects badly on certain communities that the gun control people want to keep hidden.

Bingo

A bunch of gun using criminals enhancing the stats as folks cry about guns. Get these losers off the streets and watch the stats fall. They fear very little as they know how easily the revolving door of justice spins.

Good question. I don't think there is a logical answer IMHO. Do people live in fear enough to allow kids to be murdered weekly? Seems so. Also seems cowardly not to bust on people shooting teenagers all the time.

I have no answer. Tell us why? I'm all ears. You won't get an argument from me as you would know more than I.

Fear and cowardly. They say they want something done but are too scared to give the police or powers that be the info. Instead, they’ll watch folks get killed and continue saying something needs done…and let’s not forget, many neighborhoods don’t want the police in there because they’re big meanies.

He has the right to a fair trial. Innocent till proven guilty. A nice white bread school district in wealthy Oakland County Michigan. 21st wealthiest county in the US. Incomes of counties around here pale in comparison. High school is 80% white students. Maybe he will get off.
