I have a Fujifilm, so everything is point-and-shoot. My near vision is so poor that I'd never be able to toy with settings. Besides, many of the pictures I take, especially of cats, demand instant snap. I just wish my camera had faster shutter action. So many missed moments...
I don't know if this is good. I was extremely ill and could barely get to the front door. I've always loved the rain, and had longed for the day when I could take pictures to try to capture the "feel" of a "soft day", as I've heard the Irish call rainy days. I opened the door, and, shooting through the window in the storm door, snapped a number of pictures, including this:
Yes, it's mundane, but it was the first of many tries to capture rain.
I was carrying in groceries (one of my steadier days) when I noticed these violets among the clover/shamrocks. I'm surprised I didn't fall over when I bent at the waist to get closer to my subject; usually, if I lean forward, I fall down. *sigh* At least, I didn't this time!
Thanks! It's was her first winter this year. She's a snow pup, that's for sure.
