I went from bright indoor lighting to midnight-black outdoor lighting without changing my settings first .... but happened upon a pretty neat shot. This is Christmas lights on my bro's tree. When he saw this one, I said it was a "my bad" ....he said it rocked! (we're so into the lingo of saying "cool" ) My dad said "you wasted your film...." How could I say "It's digital, Dad" without confussion? He can't get over me having camera like my Canon, he talks of me having a talent.

Acccidental, but interesting "geese in motion" effect. The photo itself was intentional, but I had just stepped outside from a building with a camera around my neck when these birds flew directly overhead. Having the camera manually set for indoor photography, I was not able to change the settings before the opportunity was gone. This was the result:

This was an oops shot that I fell in love with. I took it with a flash when it was getting late. You can't see any of the background and it really highlights his face and eyes.
