Before we bought our house in Gilbert, we strongly considered Queen Creek, however, our realtor advised us not to, due to supposed "traffic problems", increasing our commute time. However, my dad works in Chandler, so that could have been a factor in the realtor's view. However, the commute from Queen Creek to Gilbert isn't too long (the nearest Dunkin' Donuts to our house is in fact in Queen Creek), where it is a 10 minute drive.

Yes. I hate it when people post things like that. My son lives in Maricopa and Google maps says 24 miles, 33 minutes from his house to the mall. Looks like you would have to average 80 mph to get there in 18 minutes, and there are stoplights involved.

You're right - I shouldn't have been so specific, but I had a client with me one day and we timed it. Yes, we were in the north part of Maricopa, yes, we probably hit the few stoplights right, and yes, I was probably going a bit over 55. By the way, I also had a client time how long it took him to get from the airport to Maricopa and he told me it was 32 minutes.

It's 33 miles and change, 44 minutes according to Mapquest. Neither your client's travel time or the Mapquest time would be possible during the morning rush "hour" which is actually more than an hour, or any other time of heavy traffic, or even starting from further into Maricopa.

We digress. Back to topic.
