I think some it had to do with the old trail(which is back open) but not the major reason! I travel the strip several times a day for work and have so for years. Traffic is always bad from late May till New Years.

I heard from a friend that Mercado Burrito is set to open in the current Kinfolks Restaurant in Downtown Selinsgrove. They have a current restaurant in Lewisburg and it's fantastic! I hope this moves forward fast! I'm looking forward to another local "mom and pop" shop.

I have been looking at business adventures the past four months and was curious what people would like to see in either Selinsgrove, Milton, or Sunbury. Just collecting information on what folks from those areas would most like to see from a smaller run mom and pop business. Thanks!

Default Texas Roadhouse Opening

I Was just down at the Texas Roadhouse in Harrisburg last night and the manager stopped by the table. I asked when are they going to open up the Selinsgrove store. He said the owner of the store was in yesterday and they are going to start hiring in the next couple of weeks and it takes about 4 days of training per individual server. So they will not be open until March 2014 after the holidays. They wanted to have the building done before winter had set in. Everyone is going to just have to wait a little longer before they open.

Ok...I came across something interesting today! If you to the Preit website..which runs a bunch of malls and shopping centers across the country, Look under Retail Leasing and the look up Monroe Marketplace. You will see a Leasing site plan. According to that..a Ulta,Old Navy and another retail space is to be built next to Kohls along with a 4 story hotel and maybe the best part an Olive Garden and Better yet a Buffalo Wild Wings!! Let's all hope this happens sooner rather than later

OK. This thread has been growing for an eternity, and it's driving me nuts! I've never been to Selinsgrove! Time for a Field Trip to see what it's all about?
