It's happening on Roosevelt Ave. Probably is housing of some sort.

Dawne, or anybody else, do you know of any .50c soda machines in or around Selinsgrove? I've found them in other towns (although there aren't many left at all). There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of soda machines period in Selinsgrove so thinking there aren't any but curious

No $.50 soda machines that I know of. They would be cans and I think most machines are bottles anymore.

Oh, what about the store brand machines outside Weis'? I haven't looked at them in a while, but I know they were pretty inexpensive (maybe even $.25) at one time.

My husband and I used to have a business with a can machine and we sold them for $.50 but that was about 13 years ago. Even then it was getting hard to find soda to buy to fill the machine and still make a profit.

Let us know what you find!

It's odd but it seems like Selinsgrove doesn't have many soda machines at all. I've found a few .50 cent machines around though but mostly at distributors. Milton and Lewisburg have them. I actually have found .35 cent machines in the last couple years but they are very rare. It makes me sad that there will soon be no .50 cent machines left when the last couple break or are changed.

I went to Twisty Freeze and no problems here!!! Only issue was that the Slurpee (called something else) was not frozen enough.

I think they have Slush Puppies, which are different from Slurpees and Icees, and are more like a very icy fruit drink.

We have yet to try Twisty Freeze, but I'm looking forward to stopping in one evening soon.

Does anyone know if the Susquehanna Sports Place (Mini Golf) is still open? If so, how is it?

As far as I know it is still open! I was there about 2 summers ago and it wasn't bad! The price is right..it's shaded and has more holes than the one at Champs. I think it was $5 for adults.

It seems the work on the two places going into the old SuperPetz has come to a screeching halt. Any word on those places? I think it was to be Aspen Dental and either a wing place or a Five Guys.

Also, they're digging around on the other side of the access road behind Panera. I was wondering if something is going in there, or if it's just a staging area for the Texas Roadhouse construction.
