That's what I thought. There's not much room with McDonald's and the Bank there. I also heard that Save A Lot was going out. Not sure how true that is.

That would surprise me, since Weis owns the store. They have moved heaven and earth in the past to keep another grocery store from going into Lewisburg.

My cousin told me that, and his mother is a manager fairly high up the Weis chain, so I'm not sure. Perhaps they'll knock that down and put a few more inline stores in the space.

I'd rather see a Five Guys or Chick-Fil-A, but it's better than an empty lot. A new Golden Corral would be welcome too - the new style ones are really nice.
I've seen a map that shows a Buffalo Wold Wings in the Parking lot next to Kohls, along with an Olive Garden, Old Navy, Ulta and a four story Hotel. Not sure if the plan is preliminary or just in the considerations phase.

Olive Garden would be fantastic! Much better than another car dealership or convenience store, the strip is way overloaded with them to begin with.

Is there a target date for the new Weis in Selinsgrove? Curious when they are shooting to be opening.

October sticks in my mind, but I could be (and probably am) wrong.

Figured it may be somewhere around there and October sounds good! Wish they would have started earlier to have it done by summertime but just happy to have the upgrade. Should help with some traffic issues when school lets out (usually a harsh time to get out of the Weis parking lot).

They have the store building up and working on the gas pumps. Looks like they are still a couple months away unless they really book with the construction.
