Pity she didn't drop the f-bomb so her fellow graduates could have watched the top of the principal's head blow off from built up pressure and see a live demonstration of the disbursement of gray matter in the troposphere as one final science lesson.
She isn't bending to pressure and apologizing. GOOD FOR HER !! It's about time somebody stood up for what they said and to hell with those who were oh so offended.
My bet is that every one of those board members say much worse at home.
She should have lost her diploma for letting "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" influence her writing. That was a joke. Seriously though - dumb move on the part of the school.
Once again, "political correctness" run amouk. A public apology must be made. Blah. Blah. Blah. Morons. These are the same types who would suspend a kindergarten child and charge him with sexual harassment for singing "I'm sexy and I know it" --- and this really happened. It was in the news last year.
I'm undecided. Why did she lie about what would be in her speech?
What if she got up and decided to give a racist speech instead, maybe said Heil Hitler or something like that? That's not exactly profanity either but might offend some in the audience.
