No. Indeed not. I limit myself to announcing "Churros are on me!" right after they throw up in the trash can after Star Tours.
Yay! Another evil person in my camp. We have to go on some rides together. I love getting that teacup spinning so hard that people think it is going to fly off and hit someone.

Oh! I also love freaking people out on the Zipper. I get that thing spinning like a top. I have also perfected the timing so that as the arm is straight up and down and we hit bottom, I have us spin and make it look like we are going to slam into the ground. It is so much fun to completely scare the crap out of a teenage boy.

DD takes after me. She LOVES the big drop in Splash Mountain. I had a picture of her on her 5th birthday smiling so big during that drop. DH hates that because he is so afraid of rides.

Tower of Terror has always been boring for me. No me gusta. My niece loves all rides and can't wait until she tall enough for the good rides at Knott's. We went to a festival today that the town I grew up in has every year on this weekend. She had so much fun because she finally getting tall enough for some good rides. She's six, but she very small. My sister can't wait until she tall enough to go on Zipper. When she's tall enough for Gravitron I just may go on it with her because I miss that ride. I haven't been on it since junior high probably.

Ooohh. Haven't been on the Zipper. I had to Wikipedia it. I have to confess to a rather limited knowledge of amusement park rides outside of what's available at Knott's and Disneyland. Which are tame compared to what the Zipper seems to be.

Hopes: Sounds like you had a lovely afternoon. Good for you!

Zipper's more of a carnival ride. I went on it once, and that was enough for me. It was the first year I was tall enough to go on it.

You probably would be, but no me gustan las fresas. It's such a great festival and parade. I can't wait to take my kids there when I have me some. Haha.

Can I just say, though, cops galore? There are always a lot of cops there after dark because it can get pretty dicey there at that time. I haven't seen this many during the day before, though. See, I'm not one of those who feels safe when there are a lot of cops around. I figure that there must be a reason the cops are needed there, and that isn't a good thing.

Kind of sad there's a need for a lot of cops. I'm assuming they're thinking gangs.

But it's nice you went. I'm jealous. We also went to the Scottish Festival every year on this weekend. OC fairgrounds.

Dew, you're safe FOR NOW. Sarah was in DC today and she's taking a slow road trip to New Hampshire.

They aren't just thinking gangs. Since I was a little kids gangs have been a huge problem there after dark. One year a cop was even shot there. It's really sad, but everyone knows about it. I stayed after dark with some softball friends of mine once in high school, and it really was pretty scary. The people just change.

When we were driving home today I asked DH if he wanted to swing by her house. He said no, lol. We had a laugh about her being the kind of neighbor who is always bugging you for a cup of sugar and leaning over the fence complaining about how lazy her husband is.
