Have you tried getting two right now? That's how we finally got newbies to work with the grouch, old cat. We got the kittens who entertained themselves and didn't care about her. Not that they don't interact. She will every once in a while "play" with them, the best she knows how. It has been so great having the two of them together that I would never again do it any other way.

Our old cat starts meowing every morning at 6am too, to get fed. It's beyond annoying as it's impossible to sleep in. My dear son and I took her out on the deck yesterday thinking maybe in her old age going outside would make her happy.

She sat there meowing to get back in, while one of the kittens sat their meowing to go out. So it didn't work.

Morning all.

We're going way south to a Half-Priced Books store sale. 20% off. DH is raring to go but I need coffee. I'm hoping for Chinese for lunch at the mall near there. This town is called Superstition Springs. Isn't that a cool name?

No we haven't tried it. My long term plan is to let her live out her life, replace the carpet, enjoy having clean carpet for a while, then get 2 more cats. The vet said she's very healthy for her age, so we may be stuck with old carpet for a while.

I'm trying to use air miles to book a flight, they make it so complicated!

Half Price Books sounds like a safe trip since you're not likely to run into Sarah in a book store.

That's funny! She may be buying up her book though?

I'm search craig's list for a used four wheel drive for camp.

Our driveway is a mile long off a dirt road, and the driveway itself has very steep hills with rocks and bolders, very rugged.

It just makes me sick to have to buy a gas guzzling vehicle for the specific purpose of going to camp, since we don't go to camp often.

This is one of the stupid reasons we own so many vehicles.

What's wrong with parking at the end of the driveway and walking into camp?
