My kids WERE perfect as far as the internet is concerned. (Because I never talk about all the really horrid stuff they pulled. )

Or the fact that after 30+ years DH still cannot acknowledge that he's used the last of something and put it on the shopping list. Guess who had nothing to eat for breakfast but the stale bread that had to become toast? Is it that hard? The list is right there on the fridge.

Rant over. Maybe.

Dew - at least your DH finishes something up. Mine likes to leave just enough in whatever so that not only does he not have to put it on the list but he doesn't have to throw it away (and maybe have to take out the trash since it might top off the trash can) and I can't tell by looking in the pantry or fridge what is actually "empty" for all practical purposes....1/4C of lactose free milk isn't enough to put on cereal - unless of course, one is putting it on the 2T of cereal that is in the pantry...

My husband comes home from a golf trip and unloads the car, sets his golf clubs in the middle of the living room. When I ask if he's going to put them away, he says no----because he's going on another golf trip in two weeks. Same applies for hunting rifles during hunting season and fishing poles during trout season. He just doesn't see the purpose in putting something away that he will use again in the near future.

The networks are busy cancelling all my favorite TV shows. Not good. I guess I'm in the wrong demographic, it's all downhill from here!

uh oh....

Long day. Word has spread that work is light so I've got people dumping all their old dog projects on me. The stuff they don't want to do but has to be done. Oh well, as long as they give me a charge number to put on my timesheet it's all good.

Glad it's Friday though.

May have to pour a glass of vino here shortly.

Yikes! That means it's downhill for most of us!

Which shows are your favorites that are being canceled?

Actually, it is. My wine of the month club delivery was this week. Some kind of white from somewhere in Spain LOL...it's kind of yummy. The wine delivery man loves Macie. If we're home, he always wants to see her. If we're not, she's always looking through the window at him.

I know what you mean Zimbo. That's why I rarely watch TV anymore. If I get attached to a show it's the kiss of death. The last actual show (not counting reality shows like Top Chef and the occasional "housewife" show) I really got attached to was Friday Night Lights. It struggled for five seasons, being constantly moved then shared with Direct TV...it is ending now. It was really well written. Not much on anymore holds my attention. And if it does, I'm scared to watch it and get attached. It will be sure to be cancelled.

Dew - I hope you enjoy Peace Like a River. The more I think about it the more I remember really really liking it.

The Chicago Code, Lie To Me, The Human Target, The Event, Firefly. Those were shows that DH and I enjoyed watching together. We still have The Killing if they don't cancel that!

MM - exactly. It's hard to get too involved if you're not sure how long it's going to be on.
