We have music playing in the house all day long, but different events call for different styles/genres. Anywho, cooking time is ALWAYS dance music, and the kids get to pick. Here's tonight's pick, and I dare you not to tap your toes:

YouTube - I Want You Back - The Jackson Five (1969)

Zim - that's a great song. Thanks for brightening up my day!

Coop - I hope you can sort it out. Being overcommitted sucks, when it's not what you expected.

Dew - what time is that wedding on? I think I'm going to have to get up and watch it. I do love the pomp and all that stuff - and while you're at it, can I have a cookie?

You can all have some of my peach frozen yogurt I made. You deserve it. It's been a long day. Extra for you, Hopes.

Yay. Love frozen yougurt!

Vows start at 11am London Time. CNN coverage starts at 4am EDT. I've had on Sky News on my computer which is fun.

Everyone may have a cookie or 2 or 10. Bell shaped cookies for Kate and William, Star cookies for the Shuttle lift off, and Bird cookies with red sprinkles for the Cardinals in the draft.

DH is home and he's going to watch with me. I think he's secretly looking forward to all the horses.

Thank god for DVR- I can't wait to see her dress!

My boys and their friends are holed up in the basement, watching the NFL Draft. I can hear the cheers and boo's from upstairs..they were very mad at the Cam Newton pick- I guess he's one of those guys who's good in college but will be a bust in the NFL? Ohhh, boys and their strategic stuff in professional football

And girls!

Very happy with our pick. Tell your boys the Cardinal Nation is very happy with Peterson.

That would be cool. I was a big Orange Crush fan back in the day. Please, let's get this lock-out me$$ settled so we can play some football. (I'd send everybody to their rooms.)

I think you need to get in there and handle things Dew. Send them to their rooms and take away phones too while you're at it!

And congrats on the Peterson pick - that's a good one for sure! Many said he was the most talented overall....

Right now I'm ready to send Mattie's son to his room. But sounds like our poor Fin is the one they really need for that mess.

Fin! I'm thinking of you.

I know....that is horrible. I can't imagine how Mattie's heart must be broken. That is just evil IMO. Evil.
