I haven't had any problems with Comcast except for the price. I'll never switch to Verizon. They require a two year contract. There's no way I'm committing myself to Verizon for yet another contract. But I threaten to switch to Verizon to get my Comcast bill lowered. It's been a while since I've done that. Need to put it on my 'to do" list.

Did anyone see this SNL skit poking fun at British movies?

I'll wake people up if I watch the skit right now.

I can't sleep tonight. This isn't good timing. I have an exam tomorrow night. Need my sleep so I can study tomorrow.

I'm starting work tomorrow. Yay. I should be asleep since I have to wake up at 5, but I have to wait until hubby gets home from work so we can go get food for my breakfast and lunch.

Things are getting a little intense at the Work and Employment forum. Look what someone posted about me. I guess this special snowflake never comes over here and reads.

psr - you got another job? Yay! Good luck....

ohio - you are too funny...some people just don't appreciate humor.....how is work going for you?

Today is Admin Assistant appreciation day so I'll stop at the grocery store on the way to work to pick up some kind of treat for our shared office AA.....

It rained last night - yay! Now, if things warm up, they may actually start turning green....

mm - I have to mow already! I think we have gotten a bit more rain/snow over the past two weeks than you have though.

ohio - that forum has some interesting characters for sure. There's one thread I can't believe didn't get locked (maybe it has now) as people were downright venomous!

The threads I get a kick out of are the ones with the blanket statements and absolutes. No in between or possibility that they might be wrong. There's one in the Frugal forum that's making me shake my head.

jk - we have patches here and there that are longer and need mowing but overall most of the lawn is just starting up again....If the weather is nice this weekend, we'll most likely start up the yardwork. My lilacs are starting to leaf out and I can see the red shoots of my peonies starting to poke through the mulch.

Good morning all!

psr - good luck!

ohio - rocking the boat? I like it!

This weather is nuts. Arkansas was badly hit again, and they are forecasting the same front will hit here tonight. First time I have ever heard them say they are not predicting there may be tornadoes, there will be tornadoes. Time to make the beds up in the basement again. *sigh*
