I don't spray tan, I either lay out in the sun or I do a tanning bed, since tanning bed are expensive, I just lay out and tan in the actual sun, I use sun screen and don't just lay out for too long, about 30 minutes on each side and then I go off and do something like swim or whatever.

I'm the dork with the big hat, too. I have very fair skin also and don't fancy getting skin cancer.

I haven't started yet. The lady who does the placements for my position is on vacation this week. So, my hubby and I spent the week babysitting my niece as she's on Spring Break and no one else could. Thanks for asking, though.

It's one of those days. First the coffee maker. Then I repaired something. Went back to look at it and saw I glued the part on upside down. Made a grilled cheese for lunch and managed to drop it on the floor during the transfer from pan to plate.

So....

It's time to dance!

Currently playing: Hits of the sixties. A little Byrds anyone? Mamas and the Papas? Hey, Mr. Tamborine Man play a song for me....

My house was more of a 70's ear music place.

My mom loves The Tubes.

OK - just for some fun before I go watch DS's game:

YouTube - Manfred Mann - Do Wah Diddy (http://youtu.be/x-y-50RW5Ng - broken link)

My sister was in ROTC in college. One time, she was doing Color Guard at a basketball game...at some point, someone in the crowd started humming this (not too long after Stripes had been popular). She said it was difficult to keep a straight face even though of course you must....

30 second rule - so you're totally good.

I think I might do some part time work this summer at the farm my son works at, but in the greenhouse.

My neighbor called this morning and asked if I knew of anyone who would be interested. I thought, well, me! Doesn't pay much, but would be good for me to be around more humans and get out of my comfort zone.

Summer is quieter with my bookkeeping business anyway, so figured, what the heck. I'm going to go with her next week to see what it's like one afternoon. Kind of my ideal thing since I love plants and gardening.

Hope I don't ask myself, "what were you thinking?" about 2 months from now.....
