It's one thing to fork over money to a mechanic, and then? You get it home and it's still not repaired properly, that's what can push me straight over the precipice!

Warranty, guarantees, nothwithstanding, they underestimate how much you value time if you have to take it back.

Let's hope your repairs were done right, professionally.

It's hard to find a decent mechanic who won't want to over charge and who will actually fix the problem.

A neighbor a few houses away has a barking dog in their backyard this morning. All morning long it was barking while I was outside cleaning windows. Then I left for some shopping and when I returned this afternoon, the dog was still barking. After dinner, I went out to get a few items from inside the car and the dog was barking as usual. Sad that this animal is in need of attention or food, but worse that someone left it outside all day annoying so many other neighbors around them. What's wrong with some people?

In the 70's we had neighbors whose dog started barking from the moment they went to work in the morning until they pulled back in the driveway after work. They were right next door to us, nice people in fact, but never heard their dog barking. Luckily we moved away soon after....
