2012 will be like another regular day on planet earth full of hate greed coruption. no astroid impacts no super volcanic eruptions no gama ray burst, just another 250 million humans added to the 6.6 billion that all ready exist on an already overpopulated planet.our own worst enemy is the human race.the only change that will happen is more hate greed coruption and overpopulation.unless we all start to think in a more [long term sustainable apprach] and not crisis management we all will be doomed im the not so distant future.the worlds priorities are so twisted and mangled it's like a car that hit a stone wall at 100 mph totaly destroyed and renderd unrepairible...>>>>> but miracles do happen

I never thought it was going to be the end of the world. I think the weather anamolies are a result of this change in the alignment that's already in progress and will be completed in 12/12.
Twinkle Toes, on December 21, 2012, (Winter Solstice) a very rare planetary alignment, that happens only once every hundreds of thousands of years, might cause some catastrophic events on earth.

It's also when the Mayan calendar, the Egyptian calendar, and the I Ching end as well as when many other cultures predict something significant will happen. They don't say exactly what so many are assuming it's the end of the world. LOL
Oh, and the 12/21/12 alignment is when the sun is supposed to align with the galaxy, which only happens every 26 thousand years.

Apparently the destruction was a dud 26,000 years ago so we are going to have another go at it.

It wasn't said to have been a destruction 26 thousand years ago. It was said to have switched the poles, turned the earth on it's axis--which is said to have caused earthquakes and floods and volcanic eruptions, etc. I think it's doing it slowly now. I don't think it happens all at once. But, they say if it does it could get a little scary--but no total destruction. So, rest easy.
