Where were you when the latest aerial photo that Google Maps or Bing maps (your choice!) was taken of your home?
If you'd prefer you can do Google street view too.
If you can tell of course. Hint: There is often a date on the bottom corner of the screen that says month and year it was taken. Other clues such as cars in your driveway (or parking lot), people or objects in your yard, flowers or leaves changing or other things in the garden, the same for neighbors, buildings that were under construction, shadows can indicate the time of day, snow on the ground.
I'll go first.
I can easily tell when the satellite picture on Google maps was taken by the changing of the leaves of certain trees.
The most recent pic was taken October 15-22, 2011 in the morning and I was actually pulling out of the driveway when the pic was taken. I'm pretty sure I was heading out to a plant nursery at the time judging by other things that I see.
Google is spying on me! I should've known what they were doing with that big camera aimed at my window.
I have so many homes/places I stay (not a good thing), that I am truly too lazy to look them up directly. My old residence south of Minneapolis was always a nice spring day, though. I was home, apparently, since my car was in the driveway.
