Sorry bud.. I couldn't resist, I had to put something in there..

One thing I certainly DO NOT miss about the 70's is Barbara Streisand and that one song she had that was a hit in early 1974, The Way We Were... That song drove me up the wall! . I was 17 back then (A junior in highschool) and I remember when I was taking Driver's Ed, the teacher, and two other students (girls) had the radio tuned to this bubble-gum music station, that had a tendency to play songs 3 or 4 times every hour! And of course that included the song The Way We Were... ARRRRGGGHHH! The car was a brand new 1974 Chevy Malibu and I wished I had ear plugs everytime that song came on! If it were up to me, I would have brought a cassette of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Hendrix, Cream, even Led Zeppelin or other hard-rock bands from that era!

And oh.. did I also mention that Disco Really Sucks!

As always, Eddie Van Halen does a fiery lead solo in that song!

The very first time I heard Eddie Van Halen's Erruption solo was in December of 1977, my friend Jim, who is also a lead guitarist, played the record for me and my jaw just dropped! I went holy Cow! I thought this guy was amazing! Of course as we all know, Eddie Van Halen's flashy lead guitar style led to the transformation of Rock music and guitar in the late 1970's through today.

I know another lead guitarist of the 1970's, who now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, Michael Schenker, formerly of UFO, who is Rudolf Schenker's (of the Scorpions) brother, he also used the two-handed hammer-on and pull-off lead guitar style, but unfortunately he never got the same notoriety Eddie Van Halen got for it.

He also had his own band in the 80's MSG (Michael Schenker Group) and did really good.

I surprised at the amount of people actually remember the 70's...oh wait that was the 60's!!

I can't believe we have documented proof of how silly we looked in those clothes and kids are actually wearing that stuff now!

Loved me some BeeGee's Disco!!!!

I liked some of the clothes... Look they brought back the HIP HUGGERS, which are now called low waisted jeans... also the BELL BOTTOMS, which are now Bootcut. The big hair bands(for your hair) are back, along with wearing the scarves around the necks lately. It seems to go in circles. Some of the guys outfits...OKAY I will agree some where horrible. lol
