I agree 100%. I will back into spaces or pull through when in the car and not the truck to avoid this very situation.
I don't think you have choices on public parkings - like who is going to park next to you.
You can find a perfect spot, come back few minutes later and find a big car parking next to you...
I just switched over from Sprint to Verizon a couple months ago. With Sprint they sent me a Statement every month and I paid by mail. I've been getting text messages: Your phone bill is overdue. And? Where's the statement?
So I thought I'd try paying it online. I got on Verizon's site and they wanted me to Log-in with Username/Password. Made 4 attempts but they kept rejecting my password.
So I walked over to the Verizon office nearby to set it up to have it taken out of my bank account.
What's your pin number? I've been using my birthdate, almost universally, but that didn't work. And they couldn't reset it.
"Come back tomorrow before 5 pm and we first need to notify the bank (for sufficient funds?) and we'll take care of it from there.
The agent told me they don't send out statements anymore.
While sitting there, I warned him that one day some impatient senior citizen is going to blow their brains out sitting right at your desk, having reached their limit with the 21 century!
Welcome to the 21st century, whereas I have only a couple fingers around the 21st century!
Why am I still getting charged for the Reno newspaper subscription after I unsubscribed over the phone?
It may take them a month to catch up with your unsuscribe. Don't forget to get credit from the time you cancelled.

So many people don't pick up after themselves. It's amazing. Even at a work lunch, for example. How do you get up and not throw out your own garbage?

He did this for a mile or two before he/she was out of sight.
Sounds like this person was in a rush.

My rant for today
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER pay for an everyday (non-eBay) shipping label with PayPal at USPS.com's "Click & Ship" webpage. If the label misprints on your printer or doesn't print at all, you're left with requesting a refund from the USPS.
The reply you will get from USPS will be something to the effect, "Thank you for contacting the USPS® Internet Customer Care Center. The Shipping Label information you provided appears to have been generated through the Ebay Online Shipping Label Program.
We are unable to process your request for a refund or offer any technical assistance because the Online Shipping Label to which you are referring was created through their service."
So then you go over to your PayPal account, and talk to their robot Bizarro which tells you to go back to the USPS's robot for assistance. You can call PayPal if you want to wait an hour online for an $8.00 label. Somehow I think Walmart's pharmacy people are somehow sharing their webpage development people with USPS and PayPal?
My biggest complaint really is that I'm old, my body aches and I no longer have patience for change, either good or bad. And no. I'm still a huge supporter of the USPS but my patience for technological change employed by non technical people is tissue paper thin.
Here's my complaint or observation, people in general have forgotten how to have fun and just enjoy life.
Kindness lifts everyone up!
And a sense of humor!
