Welcome to the weekend peevers.

I'm just going through the post that has just arrived and one letter is from a store giving me an update on the status of my loyalty card points.

To be honest I got it years ago and never use it. Mrs J carries loads of them around in her purse. So my peeve is not for everyone.

Today's peeve;

So many different credit/loyalty cards to be carried around.

I keep it very simple- one credit card, one debit card and my AA (your AAA) card. That's it.

How about you?

I have one at the moment and agree it's best to keep it simple! I prefer cash and rarely ever use a card!

Mrs J here - have just read Mr J's post and just to make it clear, I have one credit card and a few store cards for gathering points (being careful with the money!).
I do NOT subscribe to the store credit cards which usually have horrendous terms including high interest rates.

I'm not peeved by all the credit/loyalty cards that are around - but I am jealous of your Saturday mail delivery, Mr & Mrs J! Growing up in England I loved the Saturday mail delivery... hearing the thud as mail was plopped through the letter box in the front door, especially at Christmas time. During the week, I had usually left for school before the postman came.

Here in Australia, Saturday mail was canned donkey's years ago - and our mail boxes are at the front gate.

I have two credit cards (one I never use - it costs me nothing to have it so it's just for emergencies), one supermarket reward card (just for points - no credit attached to it) and one debit card. I also have the obligatory NRMA card (like your AA or AAA card).

Only one supermarket card and will be down to one debit card tomorrow. No store or other credit cards of any kind. Debit card same as cash.

Can't use what I do not have....paid everything off couple years back and never going back hopefully!
Now I do carry those reward little key chain thingies that they scan to get discounts and that's as far as it goes

No credit cards here - just debit and AAA, just like you Jezer!
I have a few loyalty cards but hardly ever use them, I take them when I know I'm going to that store but don't have them all handy at all times...

It's those reward cards that are a pain.

My key ring is too heavy again!

I have a couple of items more. I have only a few loyalty cards. I try to keep things simple. I whittled down my unused loyalty cards awhile ago. It just seemed silly to be rummaging around for stuff I didn't need.

Good peeve, Jezer. I hate standing in line behind people while they frantically look through a batch of cards, looking for the right card.
