I'm not peeved by all the credit/loyalty cards that are around - but I am jealous of your Saturday mail delivery, Mr & Mrs J! Growing up in England I loved the Saturday mail delivery... hearing the thud as mail was plopped through the letter box in the front door, especially at Christmas time. During the week, I had usually left for school before the postman came.
Here in Australia, Saturday mail was canned donkey's years ago - and our mail boxes are at the front gate.
I have two credit cards (one I never use - it costs me nothing to have it so it's just for emergencies), one supermarket reward card (just for points - no credit attached to it) and one debit card. I also have the obligatory NRMA card (like your AA or AAA card).
We'll be joining you soon ,Kobber. The US Postal Service has been talking about discontinuing Saturday delivery for a long time. They are closing a lot of offices and the disappearance of Saturday delivery is right around the corner.
I've long refused to patronize grocery stores that require cards. My card-less grocery store has served me too well over the years.
Being in Las Vegas, to get any discount at any of the casino's, you need a rewards card for a cheaper priced buffet. That's potentially how many more cards?

No thanks! I carry a very thin wallet!
Might be fewer than you think. One of our cards works at a bunch of casinos. I can't remember which one, but one them bought up a bunch of the others.
