I really hate it when it happens in the middle of the night and resets the alarm clock..... wake up, the clock says 12:00 and flashing, but you're pretty sure it's not supposed to be light out at 5am...sigh.

Oh yeah, there are very few things that are more frustrating than power outages! Thankfully, the ones we have usually don't last very long.

I rarely experience blackouts but had a rough time last fall. Last power outage I experienced was last fall when my area got up to a record breaking 115 degrees which created strain on the electrical grid due to A/C demands. 24 hours of no electricity, record breaking heat and loss of the contents of a well-stocked frig/freezer. What was even more aggravating is that not every building in my complex experienced that blackout! I wasn't even home so it wasn't MY A/C that contributed!

I've lived in areas, especially on the beaches, where power outages were common. I can truly say it is a real rarity here in Orlando.
