Good morning peevers.

Self congratulation is no recommendation but I'm quite chuffed with myself having got ahead in some clearing up.

One task which I have broken the back of is to tidy up the garage, and as part of that I bought some (more!) shelving.

I assembled it yesterday and there was one critical part not visible. A bit of searching found it stuck in one of the shelves, and all is now tickety boo.

Ever had a self assembly problem? I know we've done it before but it's fresh in my mind.

I assembled a new pressure washer at the weekend and all I can say is thank goodness for YouTube because the operating instructions were second rate.

So with those thoughts in mind, the POTD is;

Self assembly products and instructions!

I toss them! The instructions not the products.

With the continuing bad weather here are some more splashes of colour, this time from May of last year;

Love that garden!

I can't put anything mechanical together....I married a handy man who can do that. It wouldn't work if I did the assembly, even using the instructions.

Have a great day all.

Question: Tickety boo? That is one I have not heard. Define?

I really hate "instructions" that are all pictures with no words.

Instructions here are a joke. Most of the time they're in Spanish and, of course Chinese.

Tickety boo means the same as hunky dory.

Both mean that everything is okay.

Tickety boo might have a Hindi (Indian) origin, hunky may have a Dutch origin.

Anyone remember David Bowie's 1970's album Hunky Dory?

glad it is tickety boo. I hope that is a good thing???

I don't so assemblys. Hubby used to but through the years he has lost his patience.

If we buy something that needs to be assembled, I hire someone.

I'm usually pretty good at assembling things but the older I get the less likely I am to stick with it. If it gives me a problem I call my BIL.

The flowers are beautiful, Jezer, and so is Miss Molly. I've always loved your photos. Thanks for posting them.
