Hi, you were wrong about the pic. Go to Google images and type in Orange County Smog. I guess those are all pics of L.A. then right?

Default Now you are showing your horns!!

What ever. The caption under the pic said Orange County. Even if it isn't and someone wrote the wrong caption... go to google images.. type in Orange County smog and you will get enough smog photos of Orange County to fill up your pretty OC pic thread to the hilt... Do you want me to download them here? I can do that for you. Then you can erase the one that is supposedly L.A. Whatever, Orange County has stage 5 smog warnings or did you forget that little piece of info. No I'll bet it is denial again.. Maybe a twelve step support group would fix that...

Default I think we need to stop this madness and move on.

Listen, you have the right as someone said to post whatever you want. and so do I. This is a free country. I am not even interested in this pic thread what-so-ever. We don't need to be nasty and rude to one another, we just need to agree to respect one anothers posts and individuality. I can deal with that.

My entire issue started because I don't think people are being honest with the whole picture of OC. That is it. Obviously there are beautiful places as your pics show, but that isn't enough to base a move on. I just think this is a forum to help people make decisions. You know what I mean?

It seems as if you are trying to think positive about where you are and that is great but please look at it as an outsider. Maybe someone would be bothered by the gangs and all that goes on? That the beauty would not be enough to keep them happy as it wasn't for me. We just need to all be in harmony on this and realize this is for the naive and those who have only seen beautiful pictures, movies where everything is perfect, etc. We both know that life in OC is NOT like that at all.

Can we both call this a truse and stop fighting? I don't like it. I don't know you and I am sure you are a very good person or you wouldn't be posting these pictures. I will leave this thread alone and you can do what you enjoy doing.. Hopefully we can leave this on a more positive note...

Sincerely,
me...

Totally Nigerian scam!

I'm so seriously fed up with this constant effort to conn people at every given opportunity I could puke. Its such a waste of time and serious inquiries don't get responses because of people like this. They're at it whether you sell a car, a house, - anything. These people should be shot, honestly!

Missionhome: Is that a jacaranda tree (without the flowers) in your first photo ?

Raelyn28: Is that picture of Irvine recent, or if not, do you know about when it was taken? I have been many years - that is why I am asking. I wasn't there to see the progress of development over the years.

Thanks to both of you for those pictures.

Wink Not sure but that is what it looked like when I left in 2001

Hi IloveOC,

I am not sure of the date of the picture but that is what I remember it looking like as looked at it through the window of my plane as I left from the John Wayne airport in OC in 2001. I think it is a fairly accurate representation of OC.

I had my first son at the Irvine Medical Center which holds very happy memories for me. I remember being in labor and sitting on the 405 in rush hour traffic thinking I might have my baby in the car!! LOL. I think that is the 405 in the pic, correct me if I am wrong..

Thanks for the compliment...
