I don't think it is the city's moto. The city moto is "Make Living Your Mission." "In God we Trust" was put there by council woman Gail Revis (who has since retired) claiming it was the nation's motto and should be in the council chamber. It is one of her last marks on the city. It has been there for about one year.

Wonderful, thanks to those who put captions for your pictures, so I know what I'm looking at. I only come to the OC every several mos to go to the Fashion Island shopping mall in Newport Beach, but I love looking at various pictures of the cities in this county.

Recent pictures of Dana Point.

We went sailing this past weekend and I had a new camera, so I was able to take some decent pictures, which came out better than those taken with my cell phone.

These sea lions are pretty funny to watch, if you have the time.
