I think our next round is due around 11:00PM... give or take a few gusts.
Had a few fires around town and lots of trees and limbs down but nothing too bad. Alot of town is without power right now...

Don't know if any of this will be truly *severe* but the outer bands of Ike have arrived in our area. He is supposed to turn to the North and East, but I don't see that happening yet.
We'll see.

It's pouring pretty good here now. We filled buckets with rain water in a matter of minutes. This is going to flood the rivers and creeks big time.

Yes , I moved to a smaller place about 1 1/2-2 weeks ago. It's only about 6 blocks away from the LR, but it took the cable Co. until this morning to get me back on line.
It's not as nice as the other place, but it's smaller and the lease is lower and that helps.
