LR, too bad you didn't get a shot the sky last night around 7-8. The ground looked like we were under a tarp. Half of the sky was faded with mixed dark and light gray, gray blue and pink clouds and the other half was a blue sky.
Oh yeah! We heard it!! Must have hit something between your place and ours... luckily I was already awake, I had just gotten up to close the window and went back to bed... J wasn't so lucky though, he jumped about a foot off the bed.

I'm sorry I missed that sky! My back was acting up yesterday, so I was resting last evening.

It looks like the eastern side of DFW might get some of it... hopefully it will shift your way!

It's REALLY strong but it looks like it will miss us folks on the affordable side of the metroplex.

We had a horrendous thunderstorm this morning in Mustang. Lots of thunder and lightning. When these storms are in the area, the skies are absolutely breathtaking. The same thing at sunset. I can't stop staring at the sky. My neighbors must think I'm looking for the mother ship

Syn, I can't believe the track of this storm is going just east of DFW! It has been raining off and on all day here. (More ON than off! we are getting soggy! )

There is still more on the way and it looks like it might have shifted just a little... *fingers crossed*

We received NOTHING on the affordable side of DFW. I hope this isn't a trend. Often, we start out with a dry spring and then a dry Summer, which is brutal on the vegetation. I pray for rain.

I don't know which of those little squares is my county, but the sky is gray and we didn't have the usual slanting golden rays of sun tonight.
