I like this design best, for OkC. It would fit in with the current architecture and look fantastic against the current OkC skyline.

Or perhaps this one..

mkfartnam- Rather disgusting comment IMO. I think anyone civil would feel the same, even if it was intended to be funny.

Back on topic...
Synopsis- From the article it looks as if Nichols likes this one. It would go well with Myriad Gardens and would make the Oklahoma Tower look a little more up to date.

I like the second one. I think we need a less boxy skyscraper than what our downtown is primarily composed of.

Default Kudo's And Accolades To A Proud Oklahoma City

...............Well all right Oklahoma City Kudo's and Accolades to your Corporate Community for putting this iconic skyscraper on the agenda for OKC please keep up the good work. I hope that Tulsa can put up a three (3) functions Super Tall skyscraper 1,000 feet or more..1/3 Hotel...
1/3 Coop-Op Apartments...1/3 Business Offices before 2020 because the cost to non World Class City is going to be prohibited starting around
or on or about 2020. It's really just a race against time to do things in Oklahoma "like" the BOK Arena and this upcoming Skyscraper in OKC...

Should be seeing some renderings next month right?

I hope with this some big residential developers come into town with 300 foot condo towers. I've been waiting to see that. Those would continue to add on to the skyline and make it look great. Imo.

Ya, I think August is the month for the design to be revealed. I think another corporate tower along with some highrise condos will come out of the woodwork in the next five years. Many people are living around the CBD and becoming more urbanized. Condos will be needed.

Definitely. Especially with the NBA coming now more people will want to live downtown. I think Chesapeake should have built another tower instead of their "campus" approach. Chesapeake's tower would be at least 300-400 feet wouldn't you say?
