ECU's Biotech building is under construction in downtown Greenville on Evans Street...

https://www.wnct.com/local-news/new-...ce-to-faculty/

This is a $90 million building that will extend the campus to Evans. It previously stopped at Cotanche St. With the massive Thermo Fisher pharmaceutical facility in Greenville and the world HQ's of PPD in Wilmington, ECU's new facility will offer workforce development space for the industry.

It was announced last summer that Thermo Fisher was expanding, adding 100 jobs and opened a new training facility...

Additionally ECU has rezoned its properties along Reade Circle downtown in preparation for an Alumni Hotel and a new Performing Arts Center.

Downtown Wilmington's Gaylord building is in the process of being turned into co worker space by Texas based Common Desk...

https://www.wect.com/2020/02/06/cowo...lord-building/

The historic building has not been used in over 30 years....and is a major sign that downtown Wilmington is going full throttle. The other location in NC for Common Desk is East End Market in Raleigh.
