China have offer loans to poorer countries with lower interest but they know it will be hard time for them to pay it back. Part of the loan deal they can get acres of land and some resources.

Remember when the USSR was pushed to the brink of financial ruin? And then they lost nearly all of their international influence. Ironically, somehow, the US now finds itself on its way down the same path. Our friends are less inclined to LIKE us, our enemies are less inclined to fear us. And some are thinking the Emperor has no clothes.

I’m feeling really angry about this as well. I was pissed off from the outset when Trump was saying 15 cases would magically turn into zero, and upset when the test kits were f’d up. I’m even angrier now, with every day bringing more dire news than the day before.

What are the chances that the restaurants that have so far been allowed to do a take out business will be forced to close altogether? Italy closed all restaurants and bars completely on March 12. The only things open there are groceries and pharmacies.
I will be heading into work tomorrow and I am surprised the MTA has not shifted to a reduced or modified schedule yet.
Im going also. The good news is there will be even less on the subway now. That will hopefully reduce our risk some. Be extra careful and alert everyone taking the train. I think robberies will increase here. Criminals know anyone traveling now is likely still working.
