Long story short, it seems the new Medical Directory at DSNY is basically disqualifying anyone with any ailment vs. in past years they used to let folks on as long as their ailments or issues were't too bad. Now every little thing is flagged. I'm in the same boat.
I know guys on the job with DSNY who were hired with the same issue I have, they are perplexed why in the past it wasnt an issue and now it is. Very upsetting but I guess the job is looking out for itself with all the scammers out there.

The medical scene changed drastically in the last several years between obamacare, feelings towards pre-existing conditions, and lawsuits by workers attempting to correct 3/4. It's changed a lot in just the last five years even
