The department didn't go full force. Hard to catch up when there are only 10 people on the night shift for a whole district. That's management now... it's a high school team playing in the major leagues.

Well actually the roads in downtown Brooklyn are pretty smooth, especially in park slope & near the Barclay Center. I wonder why . Maybe the Mayor might know the answer to that...

If this is true... that if a sanitation worker gets into an accident in the snow, the department won't penalize you but your own car insurance will go up under vision zero law? Like I said if this is true... Since when did this happen and who came up with this?

It's a disgrace, for the relatively small amount of snow that fell City is going into lockdown. ASP will likely be suspended on Monday and so will scheduled rubbish collection.

Maybe things are different elsewhere, but in Manhattan roads have long been cleared of what little snow that fell. Plows that kept passing Saturday night into Sunday morning were scrapping blacktop.

Inconsistent. Depends where you are, but you likely won't be holding any shifts so you will be bouncing. You will probably go to different garages. You will probably be doing corner baskets, dumping trucks, or handbrooms, and make truck occasionally. Again, depends where you go, every garage is different in what they run.

Alright thats not bad. What about when its time to be fixated to one garage. Do they give you a list of garages that have a vacancy? Or Does the department choose for you? How does it work?
