Right I worked on Staten Island....Yeah we just let everyone walk on us there right? F**k outta here. You didn't say anything about "real" sanmen you just said "where the sanmen run the show" which is typically the phrase used to point out a garage where the guys control it instead of the super. Not an issue with an elected steward.

I have a broom tissue ..I made my chart on a Wednesday and I was put in as surplus. 6 to 2. . We have no broom routes on wednesdsy in my district. There were 10 out of towners there .. they put up a broom 6 to 2 .. should I have made the truck considering that I have the out of towners beat and been able to force one of them on the broom . I thought because it was a supplemental broom it didn't count as the tissue. But everyone seems to have a different answer

I'm sure there are gonna be differing opinions on this one.. have at it
The rule is as a tissue holder you must man your tissue first. Doesn't matter what shift it is. Now if none of the out of the out of Towners knew you were a tissue holder the stewards might have been able to get away with putting you on the truck. But the minute that out of towner calls the union you're screwed out of money and the steward is the one that will hear it from the hall.
